Platt Retail Institute’s Digital Retail Forum at Digital Signage Expo 2016

Atlanta Digital Signage Expo (DSE), the world’s largest international trade show and educational conference dedicated to digital displays, interactive technology and digital communications networks, will feature Platt Retail Institute’s Digital Retail Forum as a full-day, pre-show educational opportunity.

The Digital Retail Forum: How In-store Technology is Redefining Retail, scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., is one of eight pre-show educational programs that will be presented on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. PRI’s all-new Digital Retail Forum will focus on how changing consumer shopping preferences are causing retailers to transform the way they do business. Much of this change is supported by customer-facing technologies, such as digital signs and equipping employees with smart phones and tablets. Opportunities increase through the use of Wi-Fi to understand customer behavior and RFID tags to locate merchandise as well as the growth of big data analytics. Forum attendees will hear case studies presented by retailers, and gain insights into these and other leading-edge issues.

Presenters include digital signage and retail industry professionals from organizations such as Six Flags, Freshwater Digital, Big Red Rooster, Nebraska Furniture Mart, and Fresh Juice Global. For more information, visit:bit.ly/DigitalRetailForum2016.)

This immersive full-day program is designed to help attendees learn about topics such as using data to improve message targeting to drive results and engaging the right team to ensure that the best decisions are made about integrating in-store technologies. Steven Keith Platt, Director and Research Fellow at PRI, said Forum speakers will share case studies and best practices to help attendees understand the current challenges with using technology to improve the customer experience.

The 2016 Digital Retail Forum is supported by Platinum Sponsor Scala, and Gold Sponsors ComQi, D3LED, NEC and Reflect.
