What is an electronic shelf label?
An electronic shelf label (ESL) is part of a digital display ecosystem in retail stores. It is typically used to display product information and pricing but can be used to display relevant discounts and logos as well. Sometimes referred to as an E-tag, they’re typically attached to the front edge of retail shelving producing a clean looking, efficient replacement for traditional paper price tags.
